At the Manchester Championship Show, held at Stafford, Cielo continued with her winning streak with a best puppy in breed award.
That was her last puppy first place in a Championship show as she’ll move on to the junior class at Crufts.

Cielo is starting to come good this year. At the Boston Championship Show in early January Cielo was awarded best puppy in breed as well as best bitch in breed in the Rare Breeds Gundog competition. At the same show in the Lagotto competition she was also awarded best puppy.
At the same show, Cielo’s mother, our Rosa, was awarded best bitch in the Lagotto competition.
Merry Christmas to all from Rosa, Cielo and Ricco.

Two days of dog showing on the 9th and 10th of July.
At the Newport Agricultural Society Open dog show on Saturday Ricco was entered in the AVNSC gundog class as there was no Lagotto class. AVNSC is a class for those breeds that don’t have their own breed class. In this xase the classes were also mixed dogs and bitches. Ricco one his class then Best AVNSC, (best of breed). He then went on to the gundog group to get 2nd place.
This was followed the next day at the East of England Championship Show by first place in class then Best dog and finally Best of Breed. This was his first Best of breed at a championship show.
At the same show Rosa returned to the ring getting a 1st place in her class thus, qualifying for Crufts.
We’re hearing good news about the puppies from our Moon litter. They’re all doing well and developing their own characters.
At the Royal Cheshire Agricultural Society Open Show Ricco did us proud. Under breed expert Rebecca DeBlasi Ricco was awarded fudst in his class, followed by best dog then Best of Breed. Best of breed then goes onto the group challenge. In this case the Gundog group. In the challenge Ricco was shortlisted in the best eight.
At the Windsor Championship Show on 3rd July Ricco again won his class and was narrowly beaten to reserve best dog.
At the West of England Ladies Kennel Society, WELKS, Championship show at Malvern on 24th April Ricco was awarded first in the post graduate dog class. He followed that with a win in the past graduate class at the Lagotto Romagnolo Association open show which followed the Championship Show.
At the Birmingham National Championship Show, held at Stafford, on 7th May, Ricco was awarded 1st in the Limit Dog class and followed that up with being awarded Reserve Best Dog.
